System
Adjust casting distance by holding the cast rod button.
When the reel icon is displayed, reeling in reduces the fish's stamina and the reel gauge (RG). When RG reaches 0, the fish is caught.
The farther the RG distance and the more stamina the fish has when hit, the higher the quality score when caught.
Reeling reduces the rod gauge, and reeling when the reel icon is not displayed significantly decreases the rod gauge.
The total quality score accumulated before the rod gauge reaches 0 or RG reaches MAX is recorded as the high score.
When the fish's stamina is depleted, RG can be significantly reduced.
Controls
Cast Rod: Hold B button, then release
Start Fishing Battle: Press B button when exclamation mark appears
Reel: Hold X button
Check Fish Box: Press Y button
Jump: RB/RT button
Dash: LB button
Options: Back button
